EXCITING CONTEST OPPURTUNITIES FOR ApHC YOUTH MEMBERS….

Here is a list of contests and opportunities that are available for ApHC youth members from Jan. 1, 2009 until May 1, 2009.

ART/ESSAY CONTEST: Divisions for ages 13 and under; youth ages 14-18. Compete for U.S.

Savings Bonds and other prizes. All participants receive an award for participating.

PHOTO CONTEST: Divisions for ages 13 and under; youth ages 14-18; and 4-H and FFA youth ages 18 and under. Each participant may submit multiple photos. All entries will be displayed at the World Champion Youth Show-to be judged by Larry Williams Photography. GRAND PRIZE – Digital Camera sponsored by the Appaloosa Journal.

Appaloosa Youth Association Scholarships: Thousands of dollars are given away annually. To be eligible you must be a member of ApHC or sons/daughters of an ApHC member.

Eight- $1000.00 scholarships

One- $2000.00 scholarship

Youth members may also sign up for ACCAAP and earn performance points that become part of your horse’s permanent performance record??

ACAAP Points may be earned at: SIOUX VALLEY APPALOOSA SHOWS, NORTHWEST IOWA HORSE SHOW ASSOCIATION sponsored shows, 4-H HORSE SHOWS, and many more events!
